Dr. Mary Smith
Dr. Mary Ivy Pool Smith is a Houston County native and graduate of Veterans High School. After high school, she attended the University of Georgia where she received a degree in Animal and Dairy Sciences. During the summer throughout her schooling, she would work as an assistant at Westmoreland and Slappey Animal Hospital.
Dr. Smith went on to attend the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Doctorate in 2021.
Dr. Smith is passionate about helping pets and their owners through all life stages. She has special interests in cardiology, internal medicine, and feline medicine. Dr. Smith is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Smith and her husband, Hunt, have two orange tabby cats, Dottie and Frankie. In her free time, she enjoys staying active, traveling, and spoiling her niece and nephews. Dr. Smith is an active member of Central Baptist Church in Warner Robins.
